I'm walking 62 Miles in October

I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

My nan

My nan is my be all and end all she’s looked after my the majority of my life.  We had a party for my nan last November  as she was 90 years old what an amazing age to get to and I hope there’s many more years too.  So after some thinking and dealing with a little of forgetfulness. In June 2025. My grandmother had the test  for dementia. And then we had the call from the doctor to attend the surgery and we were told then that my nan had the signs of dementia. Although it’s what I expected it’s still a hard pill to swallow.  So  here I am raising awareness to all of you that even the people who have a long life are not exempt from such disease
