I'm walking 62 Miles in October for Dementia UK
This October, I'm walking 62 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Monday 7th Sep❤️ 62 MILES IN OCTOBER FOR DEMENTIA UK ❤️
Right, so I've decided I'm going to challenge myself to walk 62 miles throughout October for Dementia UK, and I'm doing it all in honour of my amazing Grandad ❤️
Grandad was recently diagnosed with vascular dementia, and although it's obviously been a really difficult thing for our family to come to terms with, I wanted to do something positive and raise a bit of money for a charity that supports families going through this.
If you know my Grandad, you'll know exactly what I mean when I say he is the king of our family 😂👑❤️ He is honestly one of the most amazing men you could ever meet, and he means so much to all of us.
He's funny, he's kind, he's caring and he's got a personality that you just can't forget 😂 He has always been the one to make everyone laugh, and anyone who knows him will know just how much fun he is to be around.
I am so unbelievably proud to call him my Grandad, and I couldn't think of anyone better to do this for. ❤️
So, 62 miles it is! 😂 I'm sure I'll be questioning my life choices somewhere around mile 20, but I'll keep going because it's all for him.
