I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Mum!
This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help people like us and people like Mum.
Anyone who knows me knows how Dementia has engulfed my life and put families life over the past 4 years. Taking away the Mum I know and loved and replacing most of her traits and tendencies and memories.
It’s a cruel illness and has changed our lives as a family completely. There isn’t enough help out there there isn’t enough sign posting. It’s an arduous job navigating the whole nature of the beast. I would love this to change, so that families can spend more time in the present loving the person who remains rather than looking up how we deal with the next step and where we can get help and support. Please give whatever you can and let’s do just a bit to help a lot
