Walking for my mum
Throughout January, I'm walking 50 miles and raising funds to help support that no family faces dementia alone and would be grateful for your support. As of 19-Jan-26 I have walked almost 45 miles - just 5 miles short of my goal.
As many of you know, we have been on this journey since 2018, when my mum was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's, so this is very close to my heart. The sweetest lady who would help anyone – her family and friends, people on the bus or even others in the town centre - supporting anyone in need of a bit of help.
The photo is from about six years ago. Since then, things have progressed significantly but am so grateful that she is still with us.
Any donation, big or small, really makes a difference.
