I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK
This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My Gran 🥰
Thursday 28th MayI’m taking part in this challenge in honour of my gran, who is living with vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Watching someone you love slowly be affected by dementia is heartbreaking. It doesn’t just affect memory, it slowly strips away pieces of the person they used to be. The little things that once made them who they are, their independence, conversations, routines, and precious memories, begin to fade over time. Seeing my gran go through this has been incredibly painful, and it’s hard watching someone who means so much to me change in ways none of us can control.
Dementia impacts every part of everyday life, not only for the person living with it, but for the whole family around them. It’s a journey filled with sadness, frustration, and helplessness, but also love and moments we hold onto tightly.
My gran means the world to me, and I wanted to do something positive in her honour while helping raise awareness and support for families going through the same journey.
Every donation, no matter how small, will mean so much. Thank you for supporting me and helping fight dementia 🩵
