Monday 13th Jul
To  all my friends and family. Thank you to everyone who supported the bake sale event and thank you to Trainwithdave community for adding to my fundraising efforts. Special thanks also goes to the star baker as without my mums efforts we wouldn’t have had the beautiful array of cakes.
We have blown my fundraising target out of the water with a huge total of £565 raised.  This is such an important cause, very close to my heart and I hope the money will help other families experiencing and facing dementia. Thank you so much xxxx

Fabulous event today

Saturday 16th May
I just wanted to say a very big thank you to all of my friends and family that attended my make time for a cuppa event today. I apologise if I didn’t get to spend very much time with you, hosting is hard work but I love the fact that I could leave you to your own devices and everyone got along just fine.
Thank you for your donations, every penny goes towards a fabulous charity and your support means so much. I also wanted to say thank you to my mum who predominantly baked all the cakes, everyone said they were amazing.
If you couldn’t make it but donated to the cause anyway thank you from the bottom of my heart xx

Make time for a cuppa date and details

Monday 20th Apr
Sadly we lost grandad to dementia back in November. It is one of the hardest things to go through, watching a person you love gradually lose the ability to do so many things for themselves. One positive was that grandad never forgot who we were which meant that visits  for the most part were a chance to continue enjoying time spent together.

For the last 5 months grandad lived in a care home and the people there were incredible, always providing him with the care he needed. 

My mum and I have decided to host a make time for a cuppa event. Grandad loved a cuppa and a cake so it’s a nice way to honour his memory. It will take place at my home on Saturday 16th May between 10-2pm. It would be great to see lots of you but if you are unable to make it and would still like to donate any amount would be much appreciated. If you don’t have my address please contact me.
