I'm walking 62 Miles in October

I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

Weekly walk updates

Sunday 5th Oct
This week’s walk was another meaningful stride in our journey to raise awareness for dementia. The crisp autumn air in London added a reflective calm to the path, reminding me how important it is to slow down and stay present—not just for ourselves, but for those living with dementia and their carers.

Each step felt purposeful, a small act of solidarity with the millions affected. I walked thinking of the families navigating the challenges of memory loss, and the importance of community, compassion, and continued conversation.

Thank you to everyone who waved, joined, or simply asked what the walk was about. These moments of connection are what make this effort worthwhile.

Until next week—keep walking, keep talking, and keep remembering.
