I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

I'm doing the dementia walk for grandad

 Arlo and I are taking on the  October challenge for dementia by walking 75 miles.  I’m raising money for dementia research in memory of my  wonderfull grandad who I sadly lost this year.

Grandad suffered with dementia and Alzheimer’s in his later years.  Some days were really hard, but He aways had his jokes ready and remembered all the memorys  we made together when we were young, He would love a good story  shared on our visits .  It was very hard for grandad but He never gave up. Even when it got harder for him He still walked from His home to come vist then walked back. This was always over a hour long. He loved being out and about walking and visiting all his favourite  places and family.

I will also be joining my sister on these walks / runs with Arlo's brother Bailey!

I’d love to raise £200 or more to support families affected by dementia and to help provide tools that make a difference in their lives.
