I'm doing Winter Reading Challenge for Dementia UK
This winter, I'm reading and raising funds until the 31st December, to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. 📚
My beloved Grandad Pete passed away in February 2026 from Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia. To see your loved one slowly fade away over the years is heartbreaking and an emotional rollercoaster on all family members involved. ❤️
That’s why I am raising money for Dementia UK, where donations go towards funding a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s changing personality and behaviours.
