hours of free helpline support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse

I'm making Time for a Cuppa

By the time you've made your brew, another person will have developed dementia. I'm going to bake, brew and raise vital funds for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £21 could pay for the telephone costs of four families calling our free Helpline whenever they need support. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support. I am really grateful for any support you can give.

Thank you!

Time for a Cuppa ☕ – Supporting Those Affected by Dementia

We are taking part in Time for a Cuppa to raise money , and we'd love your support 💙

Dementia is something that touches so many lives—far more than we often realise. In the UK alone, around 900,000 people are currently living with dementia, and that number is expected to rise to over 1 million by 2025. But it doesn’t stop there. When you consider family, friends, and carers, dementia affects millions of people every single day.

Every diagnosis changes lives. It can mean watching someone you love slowly lose memories, independence, and parts of who they are. It can mean becoming a carer, adjusting your whole life to support someone else, often with little rest or recognition. It can feel isolating, overwhelming, and at times, heartbreaking.

That’s why charities like Demwntia UK are so important. They provide vital support for those living with dementia and their families, fund research, and work towards a future where dementia no longer devastates lives.

So what is Time for a Cuppa?
It’s a simple but meaningful way to come together—sharing a cup of tea, a chat, and raising money to make a real difference. Because sometimes, something as small as a cuppa can help create connection, comfort, and change.

☕ Join us:
We’ll be hosting our Time for a Cuppa event at Eagle View Care Home between 2pm and 4pm. We’d love for you to come along, have a drink, and show your support.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much. Every contribution helps fund support services, research, and hope for a better future.

Thank you for taking the time to read, support, and spread awareness 💙
