I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Why I’m walking for Dementia UK

I have always been passionate about dementia care since looking after my nanna who lived with the disease for many years. More recently my father in law was diagnosed with fast progressing frontotemporal dementia.  

I am someone who always likes to make things better and unfortunately apart from supporting the family I cannot fix this. But something I can do is raise funds for families like ours to be supported in the future. 

Please spare even what a coffee would have cost you as I embark on this challenge 🥰
