I'm doing Winter Reading Challenge for Dementia UK

This winter, I'm reading and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

In Loving Memory of My Grandma ❤️

A little over a month ago, I had to say goodbye to my beautiful grandma. For more than 10 years, she walked the difficult path of living with dementia — and we walked it with her.

This condition takes so much more than memory. It changes how people connect, how they experience the world, and how families navigate life together. It can feel overwhelming — and no family should ever have to go through it without someone standing beside them.

That’s why I’ve signed up for Dementia UK’s Winter Reading Challenge. In her name, I want to turn my grief into hope. I want to keep her spirit alive by helping ensure other families have the support, care and guidance they deserve.

Dementia UK does such incredible work — and every single donation helps make that possible. If you’re able to give, I will be forever thankful.
