I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Grandad

This year, Bailey Bops and I are taking on another October challenge, running 120 km. I’m raising money for dementia research in memory of my amazing grandad, and for all the residents I care for at Milbeck.

Grandad suffered with dementia and Alzheimer’s in his later years. Some days were really hard, but he still remembered the wonderful stories he used to share when we visited, or when he came to see us.

I’d love to raise £200 or more to support families affected by dementia and to help provide tools that make a difference in their lives.
