I'm making Time for a Cuppa

By the time you've made your brew, another person will have developed dementia. I'm going to bake, brew and raise vital funds for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity alongside my colleagues at London Drainage Facilities Limited. 


Me and my family, amongst many others are unfortunately experiencing what it is like to watch your loved one suffer with this  illness. 


Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £21 could pay for the telephone costs of four families calling our free Helpline whenever they need support. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support. I am really grateful for any support you can give.

With less than a week to go until LDF host their ‘Time for a Cuppa’ bake sale, I just want to thank all who are getting involved or creating support!
You are amazing!!

Like most, unfortunately on this journey support is irreplaceable. Whether it’s a chat to check- in, someone to talk to on bad days or someone who comes with you to bad visits. 
Having a space to talk can help navigate such an unknown and unpredictable time. 

So thank you! Now dust off those cake mixers and recipe books and let’s getting baking! 🎂🍰🍪
