💙 Walking for Nanny – 62 Miles in October for Dementia Support 💙

Last Thursday, 25th September, marked my lovely Nanny’s first heavenly birthday. She was the heart of our family – full of warmth, laughter, and kindness. Over the years, we’ve been quietly fundraising, and although she may not have known it was for her, she absolutely loved that we were doing something to help others.

This October, we’ve decided to take on a special challenge in her honour: walking 62 miles – that’s two miles every day – to raise funds for families affected by dementia. It’s a cause incredibly close to our hearts.

Having experienced firsthand the pain and heartbreak of watching a loved one slip away piece by piece, we know how devastating dementia can be – not just for the person living with it, but for the entire family. Sadly, support for families going through this journey is still far too limited.

That’s why we’re walking. For awareness. For support. For hope.

Your donation, no matter how small, will help provide specialist advice, resources, and care to families who need it most. Together, we can make sure no one faces dementia alone.
