I'm walking 62 Miles in October for Dementia UK

This October, I'm walking 62 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My real dads gone BUT my new dementia dad is the best tooooo

Hi as many of you know Dad has a multi Dementia. I feel like I've lost dad then I find a new one. Never knowing what he is going to say. But walking this is just to try and support the Dementia teams. I will ache like a bi@@h but I'll do it. We promised mum we'd look after dad and that's what we will do. 
So even if it's a £1 please help me raise my target. I love my dad millions but dementia is the worst disease ever. Everyday it steals a bit more of dad but every day we learn something new about our dad, things about his childhood, his family his friends and us girls. He only has to hear a loud voice or someone laughing and he says gobby is down there. I just laugh and say is she dad as I'm sitting on his  bed but all the time he says about gobby his remembers who I am
