Run 100K in February '26

I'm running 100K for Dementia UK

This February, I'm running 100K and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Finished strong with a first ever 10km

Another 5km last night brings me to 85km.

Sunday 22nd Feb
I've reached 80km today and feeling so proud of my progress and dedication. It's building my love of running for sure. 

Another 7.5km done tonight (first 2.5km was done before see FB for proof!)

Another 5km done - a personal best time too. Turns out you just gotta ignore your lungs and let your legs do their job.

Another 5km down that's 48.5km done so far. Tomorrow will be a split run as I have gym classes all morning but should get my to the 55km mark. Thank you so much to everyone who has offered me support and all the donations so far! 

10th run

Friday 13th Feb
Today brings me to 43.5km so far. A slightly longer run today reaching 7km which is a personal furthest distance and a 5k pb so quite proud of myself. Thank you to those who have donated already!

Friday 13th Feb
I've made 9 runs covering 36.5km at this point. I have now mapped the next 2 weeks to make sure I hit my 25km a week target. 

First 7.25km done

Sunday 1st Feb
Ran a 5k last night and a 2.25km warm up before pump this morning. Hoping to get out today to do a further 5km but I'm not a it's raining kind of runner yet.
