I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
Dementia is very close to my heart. My grandad passed away in 2007 and it was heart breaking to watch him live with the condition. In his later years, he often struggled to remember our names, which was incredibly difficult for us to take in, considering we lived together. This was also before there was the level of awareness and understanding of dementia that exists today, making the experience even more challenging to understand. So i dedicate this to him, my Nan and to everyone who is suffering with the condition.
