I'm doing Winter Reading Challenge for Dementia UK
Dementia is a terrible illness and is a cause very close to my heart. When I saw this reading challenge to support Dementia UK, I thought it would be the perfect way for me to support the charity as I am already a massive bookworm so I thought I’d push myself and use my geeky powers for good!
My current number of books read for the year so far is sitting at 91 and I will aim to make that 115 by 31st December, setting a target of 24 books in roughly 10 weeks. Hell, let’s round it up to 25!
As many people may know, Dementia has impacted my life significantly, as well as many thousands of others. I don’t know if I’ll manage to meet this target of reading or of fundraising but it’s worth a try if it can help in any way.
