We are raising money for Dementia uk

⛳ 36 Holes for a Cause Close to our Hearts 💜

Hi everyone,

We are taking on a personal challenge that’s very close to our hearts : playing 36 holes of golf in one day  on the 14th August 2025 with my partners 9 year old daughter to raise money for dementia uk.

Why dementia? Because I see its impact every single day.

I work in a residential care home,  where I have the privilege seeing first hand individuals living with dementia and the care and support they receive.

My partners daughter  visits the home in school holidays and joins in with the residents activities creating strong bonds and many smiles.

It’s a condition that affects not only memory but also identity, independence, and relationships. It’s heartbreaking, but it’s also a reminder of how important compassion, care, and continued research are.

So this is more than just a long day on the golf course , it’s a way to give back.

Every swing, every step, and every tired muscle will be in honour of the incredible people I work with, and in support of the families who walk this difficult road with their loved ones.

How You Can Help

We are raising funds to support services, research, and support networks for those affected by dementia. Whether it’s £1 or £50, every donation makes a difference. Your generosity will go directly toward helping people live better with dementia and toward finding better treatments and one day, hopefully, a cure.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and read our story. If you can donate or share this with others, it would mean the world to us.

Let’s make every hole count.

If our fund raising target is broken I will break myself by doing and extra 18 holes of golf on the same day.
