I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Me Flo and Matt walked together this evening (Flo had it easier using her scooter 😂)

It was raining this day so used my walking pad to do the mile walk, even Flo had a go and loved it

It was my birthday yesterday, Me and Matt did a morning walk round arrow valley park which was nice, enjoying the fresh air and knowing we are doing it for a good cause

I did my first walk at Morton Stanley Park with my daughter, shes loved taking part with me

Why I am doing this

Friday 31st Jul
My grandma has vascular dementia, she was my best friend and basically my second mum. Watching her lose her memory and change hurt more than I ever imagined. I hope one day a cure can be found so other families don't have to deal with this pain and heartache. Any donations will be a massive help towards fighting this.
