I'm walking 62 Miles in October

I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

Why

Saturday 27th Sep
I lost my dad July 2nd this year to mixed dementia
Walking and talking with friends is the best therapy for me. But sometimes it’s hard to get out… especially as the mornings and evenings are getting colder and darker.
But my dad is my drive. And all those people suffering with dementia and their families.
Let’s spread awareness and perhaps even raise a bit of money too!
We’re not sure if dementia is hereditary - but if it is… it’s not looking good for me 😵‍💫
So let’s help raise awareness, educate people, and help make a difference
For those suffering with dementia, for their carers, for their families, and in their memory
I’ll be walking every day - feel free to join me x
