My granny Jessie ♥️
Saturday 27th DecI’m walking 50 miles for dementia in honour of my granny Jessie a woman who means everything to me, my family, and so many others. She’s not just my granny, she’s everyone’s.
Jessie is 82 and was diagnosed with dementia around 6 years ago. As a family, we do everything we can to care for her, and it’s heartbreaking to see the decline. Caring for someone with dementia is incredibly hard, and I know how much harder it must be for those who don’t have family around them.
This walk is for Jessie, and for every family and individual facing this cruel disease. 💙
