I'm walking 62 Miles in October

I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge on Saturday with my sister and Zac the dog; feeling energised and exhilarated; fitness levels good. Happy to support a great cause and big thank you to all my sponsors.
Monday 6th Oct
Big thank you to the amazing support & sponsorship. We are now well into October and I am preparing with my fell running little sister to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks (Y3P) on Saturday October 11th. Enjoying the journey and uplifted by the cause: thank you Dementia UK for the support provided around the country.  I see the great work you do in the homes of my Mum, my Uncle and my Aunt.

Just finished an amazing read “Somebody I used to Know “ by Wendy Mitchell ; plenty of learning about dementia; she was an amazing campaigner & advocate who sadly died a few years ago.
Park run 🏃 followed by 1 mile in our local park to kick off
