I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30(Now 50) Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Where are those squirrels?

I'm almost there on the BINGO! I'm resisting the urge to wear my fancy dress Bob the Builder hat and know I'll get a perfect sunset before 30th September....but the squirrels are not behaving!!

For My Mum

Wednesday 3rd Sep
My mum was diagnosed with dementia in May 2021. It was the early stages of vascular dementia which accelerated in August 2021 after a knee operation. 

Living with dementia, we all adjusted but being confined to a wheelchair had its challenges. Her knee operation was a success but by 2022 she couldn't walk.

Sadly, Mum passed away peacefully on 2nd September so this challenge is for her.
