I'm taking on Fans vs Dementia
During the course of 90 minutes, 30 people in the UK will develop dementia.
I’m taking on Fans vs Dementia and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
As you are all aware i lost my grandad in may. He was diagnosed with dementia alongside charles bonnet syndrome. My grandad was a huge male figure in my life and made me enjoy football as much as i did. Hearing him speak about man united and england made seeing him enjoyable and played a huge part in me supporting the red devils now.
This year, i am stepping out my comfort zone and fundraising for dementia uk in memory of my grandad. I will be walking/running the distance between my grandads house to old trafford (27 miles) throughout september to raise funds for this charity i believe in.
As a total newbie and old trafford being 10 hour away, i am attempting to run 5k+ everyday.
