I'm jogging one mile a day for Dementia UK

This April, I'm jogging one mile each day and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. My family have and are experiencing the impact of dementia and I want to do the challenge (no matter how small) to support families in similar situations.  I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Day 30 Complete

Wednesday 30th Apr
Well, I'm not going to lie it's been a slog to get 30miles done especially since I hate running. But I've done it and my pain is nothing compared to the horrible pain that families face when dealing with Dementia.

Huge thanks to everyone who has donated on here and via the donation fundraiser on Instagram. £213 raised in total so far!! (Still time left to donate).

Thank you!!
