We're walking 62miles for Dementia UK

This October, we're walking 62 miles in memory of Dad / Grandad who passed away in March 2022 after suffering with dementia, Alzheimer’s and vascular Parkinson’s  disease. A man of many talents and knowledge had almost 85 years of memories wiped away. The one thing it didn’t rob him of was the memory of his family. 

Thomas wanted to do the October challenge again this year, so this time we are raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. We are taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £10 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
