We're walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK
This May, I'm walking 31 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. Unfortunately we lost my Father to this horrible disease last July so this charity holds a special place in our hearts. I would love to live long enough to see a cure for dementia, it’s up there with one of the worst diseases. You slowly watch the person you love most disappear right in front of your eyes. Our father was one of the most kind and loving souls you’d ever meet, he was so selfless and really thought of everybody else before himself but this horrible disease turned him into a whole different person at times. So I’m taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support. Any donation would be appreciated or even a share!
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!
