Join Us: 60 Miles for Memory and Hope

This June, our team Memory Matters is taking on the challenge of walking 60 miles; not just for the miles themselves, but for something so much bigger.

Dementia has touched our lives in the hardest way. Losing someone you love to this cruel disease is something that stays with you forever. It slowly takes so much from a person, but it never takes away the love they gave or the impact they had. 

This challenge is about honouring that love, those memories, and the incredible strength of those who have fought so bravely.

60 Miles in June is such a powerful and meaningful challenge. It’s not about being the fastest or the fittest, it’s about commitment, compassion, and coming together for a cause that affects so many families. Every step is a reminder of why we’re doing this, and every mile is a way of turning grief into something positive and purposeful.

We’re walking for those we’ve lost, for those still fighting, and for the families who are living with dementia every single day. We’re walking to help raise awareness, fund vital research, and support the incredible work being done to make a difference.

We're walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK

This June, we are taking on the Walk 60 Miles in June Challenge and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. We are taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
