1 week of the challenge complete!
First week of our 60 mile challenge done and £345 raised so far!! Thank you so much everybody who has donated so far! We are extremely pleased with how well the challenge is going! Looking at pictures of Nan really motivates me to get outside and get the miles in! Always smiling, I miss her so much!!We're walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK
Earlier this year, our family lost our beautiful and kind-hearted Mum/Nan. After years of living with dementia, she was finally able to find peace when she passed away in January.
Watching someone we love slowly deteriorate was one of the hardest and most heartbreaking things we have ever experienced as a family. Dementia is such a cruel disease, not only for the person living with it, but for everyone who loves them.
That’s why, as a family, we will be walking 60 miles throughout June to raise money for Dementia UK. We hope that by supporting this amazing charity, we can help bring us one step closer to a cure, so that no more families have to endure the pain that dementia causes.
