I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

I have not experience a family member with Dementia but l have seen the ripples that this causes.
Its not just the individual that has been diagnosed with dementia.  it's the knock on effect that these families and friends sadly watch their  love one slowly forget who they are. Norman Wisdom is my favourite actor of all time. So l walk along side Mr Sock in memory of him, plus thousands of other families . PLESDE sponsor us. Thank you 🫶🙏

Good luck and enjoy. My mum suffered from dementia. I know the difficulties of dealing with this very well. Always a good cause imo
