The Bloomfield girls- jogging a mile a day for Dementia UK
This April, the Bloomfield girls are jogging one mile each day in April. The Bloomfield girls are made up of Lindsay Jackson, Emily Bloomfield and Hazel Slow and we are raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. We are taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support.

We did it - made it to the final day. A mile a day in April. That's 90 miles between us.

We are over half way and have raised £45o
Wednesday 16th Apr Amazing!! We are nearing our new target of£500 for Dementia UK. Imagine how many families they can support with this money.

Thursday 10th Apr It's day 10 and that's 30 miles between us. Another 20 days to go and 60 miles. Just one mile a day for dementia UK is making a difference for people living with dementia and their loved ones. Share

Friday 4th Apr We have been enjoying running especially with the light evenings. We have been joined by our kids a few times and also set personal bests. Thanks to your generosity we have raised over £200 for dementia UK to support families like ours. Share
